In April 2017, the "Waste Plastic" Sorted Collection System Will Begin

With the increased promotion of recycling and limiting of trash, an effort is being made to decrease the burden upon the City of Nichinan's Clean Center and prolong its life. Therefore, we are introducing a 'waste plastic' sorted collection system beginning April 2017.

Products marked with the "waste plastic" symbol (see below), as well as other plastic household items will be collected once a week at the same stations at which burnable garbage is collected.

For more information on "waste plastic" collection days, please refer to the file attached below.

Due to the influence of the novel coronavirus, foreigners who have become unable to work their technical internships, yet still wish to continue working in Japan, have been granted special permission to stay for up to one year acknowledged under the visa status of "Designated Activities" which allows for employment.
